New aquisition!
Melody was purchased straight from Sandy-Valley back in october 1 month from calving. She has now settle in well at Gillette. She carries a GPA LPI of 3064, a DGV of 3265 while being +12 for type and +2515 for milk! This is her first photo since calving 1 1/2 month ago. Melody is owned with Genervations and Patty Jones.

2nd Wind adds 3 more bulls to her resume with the december proof!

They have made their official debut at #11 on the GLPI list. Their full sister Gillette Bolton 2nd Motivation VG 89 now in her second lactation made a big comeback from 45 to 16. With these two bulls being class Extra this now makes 11 bulls bred by Gillette to reach that level. Out of those 11, five come from 2nd Wind. Also graduating is Gillette Wizard a toystory son from 2nd Wind at Genervations.

2nd Snooze VG 86, the Planet daughter of 2nd Sleep finally got her official proof and landed in the 2nd spot on the GLPI list. Another highlight is Caramel moving up to the 17th spot. While her daughter Maryclerc Snowman Crystal placed 7th on the GLPI list for heifers.

Smurf goes EX!!

He left behind him some of these highlights: Smurf our oldest cow on the farm and the canadian lifetime production champion finally went from VG 88 to EX 91 at 15 years of age! Other highlights are 11 VG 2yr old (including 2 Alexanders and 1 Windhammer), 1 89 points which is Gillette Bolton 2nd Motivation, 2 EX 91 and one EX 90

2nd Sleep wins Reserve Grand Champion at EOWQ championship show!

After finishing second in her class, she came back in the championship and took Reserve Grand behind the come that beat her. Grand Champion Blondin Dundee Sensass. 2nd Sleep VG 89 also took home best bred and owned along with beauty and utility honors.

Finishing Honorable mention is a cow that we co-own with Donnanview farms, Morsan Goldwyn Lilac EX 94.

We also showed Gillette Laurin Sunlight ( daughter of 2x res. all canadian Gillette Dundee Sunshine) a milking yearling that placed 3rd in her class.

June classification Highlights!

From Gillette Dundee Sunshine VG 89(2x Res. All Canadian) made 86 points 3 days fresh! 2nd Snooze (Planet from 2nd Sleep) scored 86 at 18 days fresh. 2nd Sleep is fresh again and got 89 points while her full sister 2nd Motivation who is also fresh scored 88.

Gillette Visions 2012 Sale

It has been over 15 years since our last sale. Since then our herd grew with many new families which brought us great success. It's time for another Gillette Visions Sale. This sale will feature family members from 2nd Wind, Jericho, Caramel, Goldielocks, Elexa, Sunshine just to name a few. Our sale will also feature some elite guest consignments! Smurf , new canadian champion for lifetime milk production!

Gillette Emperor Smurf VG 88 as produced 206 934 kgs of milk in 9 lactations. At thirteen years of age she's now milking again and working on the world record that is around 211 000 kgs (unofficial as two lactations were estimated). we are pretty confident smurf will reach and break this in less than 6 months. She completes 6 generations VG or EX from the Montmaple Christina EX 6* family. She has only one daughter at the farm, an EX Champion wich will be flushed soon. Another good round for our bulls!
Windbrook moved up to #2. And identical twins Willrock and Wildthing made there debut at #5.These two Marion sons will bring an outcross and alot of milk to any breeders. Also expect them to bring beautifull udders as its proving to be one of 2nd Wind's great trademark. R-Z Baxter Caramel made her canadian debut at #18 while 2nd Sleep moved down to #6. Bonnacueil Goldwyn Rosalind 1st Jr 2 and best udder.

Gillette Bolton 2nd Sleep #1 GLPI in Canada

The August proof proved to be pretty good for Gillette as 2nd Sleep took the#1 spot on the list of GLPI proven cows.

Gillette Bolton 2nd Motivation took her spot at #19 right in front of her dam 2nd wind who is at #20

Gillette Bolton 2nd Look, a daughter of Gillette blitz 2nd Wedding(full sister to 2nd Wind) took the #6 spot and also took the #1 spot for milk and protein.

Gillette Bolton 2nd Rain who is a full sister to sleep and 2nd motivation took the #7 spot on the list.

2nd Wind also had another son come out with a official proof. Gillette Winners who is a Mr Sam out of wind is at Semex.
